We're still waiting for the fourth season of Rick and Morty but it looks like Dan Harmon is already hard at work on Season 5. The animated show's co-creator has just offered a glimpse at some hilarious story ideas and we're hoping most of them actually get made.
Harmon took to his official Instagram account to share some of the ideas he has been working on. He revealed that he has been working with frequent collaborator Rob Schrab, who reportedly came up with some truly amazing plans. Make sure to scroll through Harmon's post to see all the story ideas.
"The amount of season 5 ideas Rob Schrab can come up with in a day is just awe inspiring from a certain distance at which I should have stayed," Harmon wrote. We have to agree with him on this because we'd like to see "Maximum Overdrive but with grass", "Rick discovers the 11th Commandment", and "Voltron but with vegetables."
There are some truly hilarious ideas here ("Wesley Sniper", "When-Wolf", and "Artificial person with real leg", just to name a few) and it's good to know that Harmon is interested in working on most of them. After all, Adult Swim is already asking for 70 new episodes over an unspecified number of seasons so these guys are going to need all the great ideas they can find.
Rick and Morty Season 4 has not yet been given an official premiere date. However, the new season is expected to air on Adult Swim by November.
