The ongoing battle between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. is heating up. The Justice League star has just fired back at the studio's claims that he is refusing to cooperate in the ongoing investigation on his allegations about Joss Whedon's behavior on the set of the film.
It was previously reported that Warner Bros. has claimed that Fisher cannot be reached as they tried to get him to cooperate with the investigation that involves Whedon as well as producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Interestingly, Warner Bros. went out of its way to defend DC Films president Walter Hamada, who Fisher had previously claimed actually tried to make him relent on his allegations about Johns.
So what does Fisher have to say about this? The actor decided to address the claims on his official Twitter account. Take a look at his tweet below.
"Thank you all for the support and for seeing through @wbpictures desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit me to continue protecting those in power. I met with the investigator via Zoom on Aug 26th," Fisher wrote then added a screenshot of an email he sent to his team.
The second tweet added that "It's also worth noting that I made it clear to the world on Aug 21st that I would be vetting the investigator to ensure a fair and protected process for all witnesses. @wbpictures has escalated this to an entirely different level, but I'm ready to meet the challenge."
This is going to be complicated considering that Fisher is reportedly in negotiations to appear in The Flash film. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
