Olivia Munn Continues Slamming The Predator Director For Sex Offender Casting

The scene may have finally been deleted but Olivia Munn still can't help but fire at Shane Black for casting a registered sex offender in The Predator. The X-Men: Apocalypse star has continued slamming the director on social media.

Munn had been the one who found out that Steven Wilder Striegel is a sex offender who attempted to lure a 14-year-old girl into a sexual relationship via the internet. Striegel pleaded guilty in 2010 but was somehow cast in a small role in The Predator. Munn immediately informed 20th Century Fox and the studio quickly deleted the scene featuring Striegel. The studio released a statement denying any knowledge about the actor's history. However, Black admitted he knew about Striegel but cast him anyway because he "personally chose to help a friend."

The revelation didn't sit well with Munn, who took to Twitter to fire at the director.

Munn's disappointment is understandable since the deleted scene featured Striegel repeatedly hitting on her character. Nevertheless, the actress shared that she will continue promoting the film although she hinted at Black not being happy with her.

Striegel has been collaborating with Black in several films. He has appeared in Iron Man 3 as well as The Nice Guys. Both movies were shot only a few years after Striegel became a registered sex offender.

The Predator will hit theaters on September 14.
