New Star Wars: Episode IX Trailer Details Possibly Revealed

The wait for the Star Wars: Episode IX trailer continues but now we might have some interesting new details about the highly anticipated teaser.

Fans have been speculating that the Episode IX trailer will be dropped soon now that the film has completed principal photography. After all, we got our first glimpse at Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi just a few days after filming wrapped. In addition to that, there are rumors that the teaser is already being sent off to theaters for a big-screen debut. Interestingly, Making Star Wars reports that there's a completely different trailer that will be released in the next few weeks.

"Sources believe the first trailer will be different than the one shown to the crew around Christmas of 2018. That trailer showed a bit more than you would think they want to share at this moment but didn't delve into the plot at all. Everyone says it was so good and it was apparently scored using only Star Wars: Episode IX footage. So we might have a shot at seeing it at some point," the report read.

It's possible that the first teaser that will debut in theaters is the old one from last year. However, the real trailer could be unveiled at a special event like the Star Wars Celebration. Either way, it's good to know that we will get to see some Episode IX footage soon.

The release of a teaser or trailer isn't the only thing we can hope for now that Episode IX has wrapped. The teaser could also reveal the film's official subtitle and give us an idea on how the Skywalker Saga will conclude.

Stay tuned for new updates about the trailer. In the meantime, Star Wars: Episode IX is still scheduled for release on December 20.
