People are certainly excited for Game of Thrones Season 8 following the release of the first promo images from the final season. HBO clearly wants to keep the hype up and has unveiled yet another photo of Jon Snow striding into Winterfell with his trusty cape and sword on display.
The picture was posted on the official HBO Instagram account and even features a cheeky caption. Take a look at the image below.
It's not hard to imagine Jon Snow as one of the hot male models striding down the catwalk during Fashion Week. However, Kit Harington has one unique accessory in his look: his Valyrian steel sword Longclaw that is expected to play a major role in the eighth season of Game of Thrones.
Jon isn't the only one who will be entering Winterfell this April. It has already been confirmed that he is bringing Daenerys Targaryen to the North. The first footage from the final season even confirmed that Sansa Stark will welcome them and somehow hand Winterfell over to the Mother of Dragons.
Much of Season 8 is still a big mystery but we already know that there is going to be a major battle this year. The cast and crew have even boasted that the upcoming war is going to be the biggest battle ever filmed in cinematic history so we certainly have our hopes up for the final season.
The official trailer for the eighth season has not yet been released. However, it is possible that it could be unveiled in the next few weeks.
Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere on HBO on April 14.
