Black Widow has finally wrapped production and now it's just a matter of time before we get the first trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. In the meantime, there are some new promotional pictures that could give us our best look yet at the villainous Taskmaster.
The images were shared on Twitter and it shows Natasha Romanoff in various action poses. However, one of the photos happens to feature the mysterious Taskmaster. You can check it out here.
The images certainly have us excited about Black Widow, which will finally put the focus on Scarlett Johansson's character. We're also curious about the identity of Taskmaster, which could end up being the major plot twist in the film.
Johansson's co-star Florence Pugh had previously celebrated the movie's production wrap by showing off some awesome Yelena Belova-inspired jewelry. Pugh showed off an amazing ring that features her character's initials then revealed that she had to pick castmate David Harbour's nose throughout filming. We're not sure what that means exactly, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise if one of the major action sequences involves some nose-picking.
Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and also stars Rachel Weisz, O-T Fagbenie, Ray Winstone, and Olivier Richters. It has also been revealed that both Robert Downey Jr. and William Hurt will reprise their roles as Tony Stark and Thaddeus Ross, respectively.
Black Widow is scheduled for release on May 1, 2020.
