Slater confirmed the good news on his official Twitter account and even revealed that he has always wanted to work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I was seven when I bought my first Marvel comic, and my life was changed on the spot. It’s no exaggeration to say that joining the MCU is the single greatest honor of my career. I’m thrilled and terrified and deliriously happy.— Jeremy Slater (@jerslater) November 9, 2019

The Exorcist series creator also confirmed that he is already meeting with the crew of the upcoming show.
"And while I won’t be able tell you anything in regards to story or casting, I *can* tell that you we’ve assembled a room full of brilliant writers who truly love this character, and we’re all hard at work crafting something special for you," he added.
Finally, Slater hyped up the series.
"So stick around and stay tuned. Moon Knight is on the way, and it’s going to be one hell of a ride," he concluded.
We're certainly happy for Slater and his involvement in the show is a welcome one. After all, his work on The Umbrella Academy and Death Note were truly awesome. We can't wait to see what he has in store for the series.
Moon Knight will focus on Marc Spector, a former US Marine who becomes a mercenary with several different personalities. The series has not yet been given an official premiere date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
