Matthew McConaughey is DC's Two-Face in Terrifying New Image

We already know that The Batman will feature several DC supervillains including Penguin, The Riddler, and Catwoman. But what would happen if Two-Face gets introduced and is played by an Academy Award winner? A new fan art imagines Matthew McConaughey as Harvey Dent in a possible sequel to the Robert Pattinson film and it's absolutely impressive.

The fan art was created by digital artist AwedopeArt and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.

"[I] really want to see him play two face in the batman sequel, its gonna be amazing," the caption reads.

Of course, Warner Bros. has not yet teased on a possible follow-up to The Batman since the film itself is still in production. In addition to that, it's unclear if DC is even planning to bring back Two-Face, who is a character that has been played by numerous actors including Tommy Lee Jones and Aaron Eckhart. On the other hand, we love the idea of McConaughey playing Harvey.

But is it possible that Two-Face will actually appear in The Batman? There have been speculations that Peter Sarsgaard's mystery character might be a new version of Harvey. However, it has since been revealed that Sarsgaard will portray a Gotham City district attorney named Gil Colson and will have no connection to Two-Face.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and will also star Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The film is scheduled for release on October 1, 2021.
