Marvel Will Reportedly Introduce Ironheart As New MCU Iron Man

The world is still mourning for the unfortunate death of Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame but it looks like Marvel Studios already has its eyes on the next Iron Man. A new report suggests that Ironheart could finally be introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Iron Man's replacement in the Phase 4 movies.

People have long been wondering if Riri Williams will actually take the huge step into the MCU any time in the future. After all, Iron Heart has already proven to be an exceptional hero in the comic books. So is it finally time for Ironheart to be introduced in the Marvel films?

The new report from We Got This Covered reveals that Marvel is currently considering the best possible replacement for Iron Man following the death of Tony Stark. Although War Machine and Spider-Man are reportedly some of the main candidates, it looks like the best candidate could be Ironheart. Interestingly, Riri might find one of Tony's armors and eventually joined Captain Marvel to fight alongside the New Avengers.

It's certainly an awesome idea but fans are also quick to point out that there have been no hints at Riri's introduction in the MCU. On the other hand, some believe that Harley Keener's surprise appearance in Endgame might suggest that he could become Iron Lad. Either way, these are all based on speculations so we would recommend taking it all with a grain of salt.

We're certainly hoping to see Ironheart joining the MCU. In the meantime, we're waiting for concrete updates from Marvel Studios about Phase 4. Keep checking this page for more Ironheart news.
