Marvel Re-issues Avengers: Endgame Poster After Leaving Danai Gurira Out

There is little doubt that people can't stop talking about Avengers: Endgame after the release of the new trailer and poster for the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. However, fans also noticed something curious about the poster. Although Okoye appears on the poster, Danai Gurira is strangely not credited at all.

In case you missed it, Marvel released the Endgame poster soon after dropping the trailer. The first poster lists everyone that appears in the image, except for the woman who portrays the lone Dora Milaje in the poster.

Needless to say, Black Panther fans weren't happy about this. Although Okoye only appears briefly in the trailer, there has to be a good reason why she is part of the poster. Luckily, Marvel has reissued the poster, this time with Gurira's name credited properly.

There have been speculations that Okoye will play a big role in Endgame. After all, she was the only one who saw T'Challa turning into dust in Avengers: Infinity War. Some believe that the Dora Milaje leader will be the one in charge of bringing order back to Wakanda after the battle. Okoye might also be able to locate Shuri, who appears to be missing after Thanos snapped his fingers.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed 'The Decimation', the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe."

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled for release on April 26.
