Mark Ruffalo Tries To Prevent MCU Civil War 2 After Stealing Don Cheadle's Private Joke With Paul Bettany

Who would've thought that the next Civil War in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would start from a joke? Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle are currently at odds after the former stole the private joke that his Avengers: Endgame co-star shares with Paul Bettany.

It all started out pretty simple. Bettany had shared an awesome video of himself pulling off the prosthetics he wears as Vision in the MCU films. The Avengers: Infinity War star even added a caption suggesting that Ruffalo had just discovered he had actually been working with Star Wars actor Ewan McGregor all this time.

Ruffalo's reaction is certainly hilarious. However, it didn't take long before Cheadle called Bettany out for sharing THEIR joke with Ruffalo.

Bettany immediately apologized for his error then placed the blame on Ruffalo.

Not surprisingly, Ruffalo immediately tried to prevent any "trouble." He quickly pointed out that they could deal with the problem better than Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. In addition to that, Ruffalo revealed that Bettany often mistakes him for Cheadle.

It's a hilarious exchange between the Marvel stars but we're really wondering that Ewan McGregor thinks about the entire thing. Likewise, Downey and Evans have not yet commented on the ongoing MCU Civil War 2 between their Endgame co-stars.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
