Mark Hamill 'Reveals' Star Wars Episode IX Title After Super Bowl 2019 Disappointment

Are you unhappy about Star Wars: Episode IX not getting a trailer aired during Super Bowl LIII? Don't worry, Mark Hamill has your back. The Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor has just revealed the sequel's title and it's not a surprise at all.

Hamill took to Twitter after several fans shared their disappointment over Episode IX not getting any airtime during Super Bowl 2019. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor admitted that the title has been revealed a long time ago and even shared a screenshot of the revelation. Take a look at his tweet below.

"Disappointed there was no #StarWars trailer shown during the #SuperBowl? Agonizing over how long you'll have to wait until they drop the title? RELAX nerds! #Futurama predicted it years ago & we all know: Cartoons. Never. Lie. EXCLUSIVE BREAKING "NEWS": #EpIXYodasBarMitzvah," Hamill wrote.

Thank you for the post, Mr. Hamill. We certainly needed a good laugh after what happened during Super Bowl 2019.

The absence of the Episode IX trailer isn't the only thing that had people complaining about the game. Hundreds of fans who petitioned for Spongebob Squarepants to perform Sweet Victory during the halftime show were disappointed when footage from the cartoon's episode was used to introduce Travis Scott as he performed with Maroon 5.

We will need to wait a little longer before we can get any footage from Episode IX. There is a possibility that the first trailer and title will finally be revealed during the Star Wars Celebration this April.
