Mark Hamill Responds to Stephen King's Child's Play Reboot Praise

The recent reboot of Child's Play may have earned mixed reviews but it has one celebrity fan who isn't ashamed to admit he loved it. Stephen King has just praised the remake of the 1988 film and Mark Hamill has the best reaction to the comment about his performance as Chucky's new voice.

Hamill took to his official Twitter account to share King's comments about the horror flick and since this is Mark Hamill we're talking about, get ready for a witty caption. Take a look at the tweet below.

"'Mark Hamill did the voice of Chucky & I f---ing loved that movie.' As a lifelong @StephenKing fanatic, I'm thrilled beyond words to be a part of something HE loved! Do you think his @ChildsPlayMovie quote would make a good tattoo?" Hamill wrote.

We probably won't recommend getting a tattoo of the quote but we understand why Hamill is so pleased with King's praise. After all, the legendary writer is practically the Godfather of Modern Horror so his opinion definitely counts. Still, please don't get that tattooed, Mark.

Child's Play was released in June and immediately got mixed reviews from critics. Although many agreed that the dark humor was great, fans felt that it still didn't match the tone of the original film. Nevertheless, if King likes it, it should be worth a watch.

Hamill is set to return as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theaters on December 20.
