There is little doubt that fans are hoping to see more of Mace Windu. After all, the Jedi Master is said to be getting his own Star Wars series that will air on Disney+. But what would Windu look like in a new show? An awesome fan-made poster imagines a young Windu facing off against a Sith Lord.

The fan art was created by digital artist apexform and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.

The illustration actually depicts A Good Place star William Jackson Harper as the young Mace Windu seemingly preparing to face off against an unseen opponent who wields a red lightsaber. There's a glimpse at a TIE Fighter in the background as well.

Fans who are worried about Samuel L. Jackson not being part of the artwork don't have to worry, either. The older Mace can be seen in the background as well.

Although we love the idea of a new Star Wars series that would focus on a young Windu and hopefully bring back Jackson's version of the character, it is important to point out that the show has not yet been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm. With that in mind, it is best to take this with a grain of salt.

What do you think of a Star Wars series focusing on a young Windu? Should the show also feature Jackson's Jedi Master? Sound off in the comments below.
