Killer Croc Actor Confirms He Won't Return In James Gunn's The Suicide Squad

One of the most interesting things about The Suicide Squad is the fact that some of the cast from the 2016 film will be returning in the James Gunn movie. Unfortunately, not all of them will be back in 2021. Killer Croc actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has just confirmed that people shouldn't expect Waylon Jones to reunite with the rest of Task Force X.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje recently spoke to Yahoo! about the new film and he confirmed that Killer Croc will not be showing up in the new DC Extended Universe movie.

"I don't think I need to [do it again], to be honest. I did it, I enjoyed it, it bought me a Bentley and I will keep moving on," he said.

Well, we're glad he's happy with his Bentley but it would be cool to see Killer Croc back in action in the new film. Nevertheless, Akinnuoye-Agbaje isn't the only one who isn't going to continue working with Viola Davis' Amanda Waller.

It has already been confirmed that Will Smith will not be back as Deadshot although his character survived at the end of the David Ayer film. Likewise, Karen Fukuhara's Katana, Cara Delevingne's Enchantress, and Jared Leto's Joker will not be a part of Gunn's movie.

Although they will be sorely missed, fans can still expect to see Margot Robbie to return as Harley Quinn along with Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flagg and Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang. The former members of Task Force X will be working with a new team soon.

The Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 6, 2021.
