Karen Gillan Admits She Read James Gunn's Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Script

Fans are still worried about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 after James Gunn was fired from the film by Disney and Marvel Studios. However, Karen Gillan wants everyone to rest easy that the sequel will still be a great one. After all, she has already read part of Gunn's script.

Gillan recently spoke to People about Vol. 3. The former Doctor Who actress stated that although Gunn will not be working on the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick, she is looking forward to filming for the sequel.

"Our director won't be with us any longer but we are excited to continue the Guardians of the Galaxy story and keep delivering to the fans. That's the most important thing," Gillan said. She also confessed that she doesn't know when Vol. 3 will be released but shares that "there's a script in existence."

"I may have had a little teeny peek, but I can't say anything," Gillan teased.

Although we're still not sure what will happen to Nebula in Vol. 3, fans can rest assured that she will be back in Avengers: Endgame. Gillan even revealed what her character will be up to in the highly anticipated movie.

"What can I say? Thanos is her dad and she is definitely going to confront some serious daddy issues. That's for sure."

We're certainly hoping that Nebula gives Thanos a piece of her mind for sacrificing her sister Gamora to procure the Soul Stone. In the meantime, Gillan has been busy on other projects. Her directorial debut The Party's Just Beginning also features her Guardians of the Galaxy co-star Lee Pace and was released on December 7.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has not yet been given an official release date. Avengers: Endgame will premiere on April 26, 2019.
