Justice League: Jason Blum Says Zack Snyder Should Avoid Fan Service in Snyder Cut

There is little doubt that people already have certain expectations when it comes to Zack Snyder's director's cut of Justice League. However, Jason Blum says that the filmmaker should probably avoid adding too much fan service in the Snyder Cut.

Blum, who founded Blumhouse Productions, recently spoke to Fox 5 DC where he shared his opinion on how too much outside influence can affect a filmmaker's vision.

"I think you have to be very careful. An artist has gotta kinda do their vision without the noise of fans and everything else. Some fans like stuff, some hate stuff. I think the best art and the best work comes from having a pure vision and going for it," Blum said.

This might be the best thing for the Snyder Cut considering that Snyder already seems to know what he wanted to do with Justice League. Let's just hope that Snyder takes Blum's advice and does his own thing for the director's cut.

There's a lot riding on the Snyder Cut these days. It was previously reported that the success of the project could make way for more DC Extended Universe projects like Justice League 2 and Man of Steel 2. Needless to say, we'll have to wait and see what happens with the Snyder Cut.

The Justice League Snyder Cut is expected to premiere on HBO Max in 2021.
