Josh Brolin Shares Hi-Res Image Of Thanos From Avengers: Endgame, Calls Out The Rock

It's no secret that Thanos can be thoroughly savage. Interestingly, Josh Brolin appears to be staying in character even while posting on social media. The Avengers: Endgame star has just shared a high-resolution image of the Mad Titan from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. In addition to that, Brolin called out The Rock in his post.

Brolin shared the Empire magazine cover featuring Thanos on his official Instagram account. For some reason, he added a strange caption. Take a look at the photo below.

"Eat your heart out @therock. I'm coming for you next, little guy," Brolin wrote before adding the hashtag #feelgreatlookgreat.

We're not entirely sure why Brolin has called out Dwayne Johnson in his post. Can we look forward to a Thanos/Black Adam faceoff sometime in the future? Is The Rock joining the MCU? We're completely stumped.

Thanos may have been the bad guy in Avengers: Infinity War but there are speculations that he isn't the only threat that the survivors will need to face in Endgame. There's a possibility that the heroes will have a bigger problem and that Thanos is just someone they need to defeat early on in the film. Nevertheless, we are really hoping that the Avengers can manage to reverse the effects of the Mad Titan's snap to bring back the other half of the universe that got erased.

The synopsis for Endgame reads as follows:

"Following the events of Avengers: Infinity War, with half of the universe killed in an event dubbed 'The Decimation', the universe lies in shambles and the remaining Avengers and their allies must reassemble to repair the damage caused by Thanos and bring harmony back to the universe."

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled for release on April 26.
