Jon Kasdan Teases Solo 2 Plot Involving Crimson Dawn Vs Hutts

In case you missed it, people are currently campaigning for a sequel to Solo: A Star Wars Story. Not surprisingly, the cast and crew of the film are loving it and are also supporting the hashtag #MakeSolo2Happen. However, the best thing about the campaign might be the fact that screenwriter Jonathan Kasdan already has an entire plot planned out for the possible sequel.

Jon Kasdan recently took to Twitter to express his support for Solo 2. Interestingly, his tweet teased on what fans could look forward to in the sequel if it ever gets the greenlight and it could mean more Darth Maul. Take a look at Kasdan's post below.

"Beyond grateful & galvanized by the #MakeSolo2Happen energy on Twitter today. Means so much to everyone involved & ur enthusiasm makes it possible for us to keep advocating for it! 'Cause, the Maker knows, there's a WAR story set in a Galaxy Far Far Away that's yet to be told..." Kasdan wrote.

The post included an image featuring three different emblems representing the best (or worst) of the criminal underworld in the Star Wars Universe. There's the Pykes, the Hutts, and Crimson Dawn. The last line in Kasdan's caption certainly teases the return of Darth Maul (and Qi'ra) as well as Jabba the Hutt in Solo 2.

Solo already teased on a bigger story involving the underworld. Dryden Vos mentioned that he didn't want to be involved in the coaxium heist in Kessel because of Crimson Dawn's unstable alliance with the Pykes. The film also concluded with Han and Chewbacca leaving for Tatooine to meet with a certain crime lord that could be revealed to be Jabba the Hutt.

Of course, Solo 2 has yet to be approved by Disney and Lucasfilm but at least we already have an idea on what Han will have to deal with if it happens in the future.
