John Wick: Chapter 3 Clip Reveals What Happens To Keanu Reeves' Dog

There is a simple reason why John Wick as a character has resonated with people so thoroughly. In the first John Wick film, the retired assassin decided to use his skills to take down everyone responsible for the death of his beloved puppy named Daisy. At the end of the movie, Keanu Reeves' character adopts a new puppy that is scheduled to be euthanized and tries to give the dog a better life.

However, things aren't going easy for the character. In John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum, there is a $14 million bounty on his head, which means that anyone will try to kill him and his dog for the money. However, a new clip from the upcoming movie might reveal that John found a way to ensure the nameless pup's safety.

In the clip, John and the dog get into a cab and request to be taken to the New York Public Library. However, they get stuck in a traffic jam and John decides it's time to find a safe place for his puppy.

"Change of plan," he tells the cab driver as he hands over a gold coin. "The Continental. Can you see that he is received by the concierge?"

The driver has no problems with the instructions. "Yes, sir, Mr. Wick," he answers.

Now it's time for a brief moment between John and the pup. He looks at the creature he saved in the first film and gives him the simplest act of affection. "Good dog," he says. "Good dog." With that, he prepares to leave the cab.

It's a quick glimpse at what will happen in Chapter 3 but it also confirms some interesting things. For one, John knows that Chiron is fond of the dog and will ensure the puppy's safety. The second thing is that it will allow John to fight for his life without having to worry about his furry friend. Needless to say, we're looking forward to all the action this May.

John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum will hit theaters on May 17.
