John Wick 3 Director Joins Birds Of Prey Action Scenes Reshoots

It looks like Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is aiming to add some truly stunning action sequences. The highly-anticipated DC flick has just added John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum director Chad Stahelski to work on some extensive reshoots.

Stahelski has reportedly been brought in to work on new action scenes for Birds of Prey. As per The Hollywood Reporter, the former stuntman will be working with the second unit. This means that Stahelski will be coordinating with the stunt team instead of the main cast.

Although it's unlikely that Stahelski will be teaching Margot Robbie some of John Wick's signature moves, it's cool to know that he's involved with Birds of Prey. After all, it's set to be the first R-rated DC Extended Universe film so his involvement means that the action sequences will be truly amazing.

Birds of Prey is directed by Cathy Yen and written by Christina Hodson. It brings back Robbie as Harley Quinn, who teams up with other vigilantes in an effort to save a young girl.

The film also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Szasz, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, and Ewan McGregor as Black Mask.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is currently in post-production. The film is scheduled for release on February 7, 2020.
