John Boyega Teases Possible Star Wars Celebration Appearance

The upcoming Star Wars Celebration 2019 is only a few weeks away but we have yet to find out more of the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX will be in attendance. So far, we only know that Oscar Isaac will be in Chicago during that week. But is it possible that John Boyega has just confirmed his attendance at the highly anticipated event?

Boyega has just shared an intriguing photo on his official Instagram account. The Star Wars Celebration image shows a large group of Stormtroopers headed by four Captain Phasmas. Interestingly, the Stormtrooper known as FN-2187 (you can tell it's him because of the blood streak on his helmet) is in the ranks as well. Take a look at the picture below.

The Episode IX star wisely didn't add a caption. Nevertheless, the photo has led to speculations that Boyega will attend Star Wars Celebration this April. After all, his attendance could mean that Lucasfilm has something big to announce in Chicago.

Fans believe that the Episode IX trailer and title will be announced at Star Wars Celebration. It's a fitting event to make the announcement especially if the Episode IX actors will be there.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed if Boyega will be a guest at the event. Likewise, his Episode IX co-stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, and Adam Driver have not been announced. However, we're hoping to get an update right before the big event.

Star Wars Celebration 2019 will take place from April 11 to 15 at McCormick Place in Chicago. Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20.
