John Boyega Not Interested in Doing More Star Wars Movies

There is little doubt that John Boyega became a household name after landing the role of Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the two other sequel trilogy films. However, it looks like the Pacific Rim: Uprising actor is ready to turn his back on the franchise. Boyega has just admitted that he is no longer interested in working on more Star Wars movies.

Boyega previously spoke to Comicbook.com while promoting Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the young actor confirmed that he is eager to move on now that the sequel trilogy has ended.

"Yeah! Yeah, I'm ready for life after Star Wars," Boyega said with a laugh. "After Star Wars, that's when the check clears. Life after Star Wars is about to be lit."

Of course, that doesn't mean that Boyega isn't fond of the franchise and the friends he met while working on the Star Wars movies. He stated that he still wants to see co-stars Oscar Isaac and Daisy Ridley on a regular basis.

"It's bittersweet because of the connections we made on set, the amazing people, important people to my life specifically Oscar and Daisy. Now, I'm ready to see our relationships grow and flourish in the real world," Boyega said.
