John Boyega Gets 'Arrested' By Stormtroopers At Disney

Stormtroopers might not be considered the brightest bunch in the Star Wars universe but you have to commend their loyalty to the First Order. A group of Stormtroopers recently arrested John Boyega during his visit to Disney World.

The Star Wars: Episode IX actor recently shared several stories on his official Instagram account documenting his visit to the entertainment complex. Boyega was initially minding his own business but expressed concern when he saw the Stormtroopers coming towards him. Not surprisingly, they immediately spotted him and began taking him away from his friends. "They're arresting me right now down at Disney," Boyega exclaimed before turning to the Stormtroopers and asking, "I get arrested?" In response, one of the Stormtroopers contacted their superiors, declaring that "the fugitive is now in custody."

It's an awesome experience for visitors who had no idea they were in the company of Boyega himself. Unfortunately for the Pacific Rim: Uprising star, it meant that he had to somehow play along with the Stormtroopers.

Luckily, the Stormtroopers didn't keep Boyega for long. He was able to escape them and have some fun on the other attractions around the park.

There's a good reason why the Stormtroopers needed to arrest Boyega. After all, Finn is a former Stormtrooper who has been declared a traitor of the First Order. The character was last seen joining the survivors of the Resistance leaving Crait on the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. There is little doubt that he will be in for more action in Episode IX.

Boyega returns as Finn in Star Wars: Episode IX, which is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
