The final trailer featured a lot of new footage including Rey and Kylo Ren destroying something dark and brittle. A previous report has confirmed that the two are actually attacking a Darth Vader shrine. Looks like Kylo is finally ready to let the past die, don't you think? We'll find out what drove Kylo to turn his back on the past and work with Rey later this year.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is directed by J.J. Abrams and will serve as the final film in the Skywalker Saga. The film will hit theaters on December 20.
