John Boyega Celebrates Star Wars Episode IX With Heartwarming Message For JJ Abrams

People are certainly thrilled after J.J. Abrams confirmed that Star Wars: Episode IX has officially wrapped principal photography. However, it looks like John Boyega is feeling truly emotional now that he has finished work on the film. The Star Wars: The Last Jedi actor posted a heartwarming message for the director on social media.

Boyega shared Abrams' photo on his official Instagram account. The caption truly captures how amazing his experience has been and he owes it all to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens director. Take a look at his post below.

"That's a wrap on Star Wars Episode 9 and the end to a chapter of my life that I couldn't be more thankful for. What a process! It really has been a joy to be in these movies surrounded by amazing people. I personally want to thank @jjabramsofficial for giving me a chance to make my dreams come true," Boyega wrote. He also added a sweet message for his fans.

"To our supporters.... See you SOON! May the force be with you," he wrote.

Boyega's message certainly hints at a lot of things. Could this mean that Finn will no longer make an appearance in the next Star Wars trilogy that is being developed by Rian Johnson? We're hoping that we haven't seen the last of Boyega's character just yet.

Fans also picked up on Boyega saying that he will see them soon. There are speculations that the cast and crew will finally announce the Episode IX title along with its official trailer in the next few days.

Boyega has been a major part of the current Star Wars trilogy along with co-stars Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac who both appear in Abrams' photo. We're hoping that these three will continue working together in the near future.

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres on December 20.
