Joe Manganiello Confirmed to Return as Deathstroke in Zack Snyder's Justice League

There is little doubt that fans are already hyped up over Jared Leto's return as Joker in Zack Snyder's Justice League. However, the Clown Prince of Crime isn't the only villain who is expected to be back in the Snyder Cut. It has been confirmed that Joe Manganiello is joining the reshoots for the highly anticipated director's cut.

Fans have already suspected that Manganiello will appear in the Justice League Snyder Cut after he appeared on a Twitch live stream with the Slade Wilson hair. Luckily, it didn't take long before Collider confirmed that the True Blood actor will shoot new scenes for the film.

Manganiello only appeared briefly in the theatrical cut of Justice League, showing up in the post-credits scene alongside Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. His return as Deathstroke, as well as the confirmation about Leto, has led to speculations that we will be seeing more people on that boat to form the Injustice Society. However, it has not yet been revealed whether Eisenberg will be back to the movie.

For now, some believe that Manganiello will be shooting new scenes with Ben Affleck to explain why Slade decided to meet up with Luthor in the first place. Will there be a major action sequence between Deathstroke and Batman? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Justice League Snyder Cut reshoots will also bring back Amber Heard as Mera and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. The extended movie (or series) has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to premiere on HBO Max by Summer next year.
