Jeffrey Dean Morgan on When The Walking Dead Season 11 will Begin Filming

The final episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 has already been delayed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. But is there a chance that the cast and crew of the series have already started work on Season 11 before the shutdowns? Jeffrey Dean Morgan has just commented on when filming could possibly begin again of the AMC series.

Morgan recently spoke to Live with Kelly and Ryan where he was asked if he was already preparing to get back to work on The Walking Dead Season 11. Interestingly, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star revealed that there have been no updates yet on production.

"As far as The Walking Dead and the next season, I don't know. No one knows when and where and how and if, y'know? It's a big waiting game to see what's going to happen," Morgan said.

It's understandable why Morgan has yet to learn when production will resume. After all, the crew had been finalizing the post-production on the current season's final episode when they were forced to shut down due to COVID-19. There's a huge chance that the crew would need to work on the season finale first when the quarantine is lifted. Once that is completed, it may still take some time before everyone can finally begin filming for Season 11.

The Walking Dead Season 10 finale was expected to premiere on AMC on April 12. However, the premiere on the final episode has been moved to later in the year.
