Snoochie boochies! Clerks is 25 years old today and Kevin Smith can't help but celebrate the film's anniversary.

Smith took to his official Twitter account to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his black-and-white comedy and drop some good news. Take a look at his tweet below.

"25 yrs ago today, CLERKS debuted at the @AngelikaNewYork in NYC & the @laemmle Sunset 5 in L.A. So to celebrate a quarter of a century in movies, the #RebootRoadshow Tour starts tonight in N.J.! I think it’s now safe to say I *am* supposed to be here today," Smith wrote. He then added the hashtag #JayAndSilentBobReboot.

Has it really been 25 years since Clerks? It still feels like yesterday that we were introduced to Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, who hate their jobs and usually end up arguing about which Star Wars film was the best. In addition to that, it's a little hard to imagine that Jay and Silent Bob first gave their best advice to Dante a quarter of a century ago, and yet here we are.

Clerks was Smith's directorial debut and he also wrote and produced the 1994 film. Despite its low budget of a little over $27,000, the movie earned over $3 million and kickstarted Smith's filmmaking career.

Since Clerks, Smith has worked on several films featuring Jay and Silent Bob and has even directed episodes for TV shows like Supergirl and The Flash. His most recent movie Jay and Silent Bob Reboot premiered on October 15.
