Here's Why Mando Might Work with Rebels in The Mandalorian Season 2

There is little doubt that people are coming up with their own theories about what could happen in The Mandalorian Season 2 after seeing the first trailer. For instance, fans already have their ideas on who Sasha Banks will be playing in the Star Wars series. But one thing has left people scratching their heads: will Mando and Baby Yoda end up working with the Rebels in the second season of the Disney+ show?

In the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 2, there is a shot of the Razor Crest being flanked by X-Wings. And they're not just any old X-Wings, either. The starfighters appear to be the split-engine models that have already appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Needless to say, this strongly suggests that Mando will be getting help from the New Republic, which could be gaining momentum in this particular timeline. So why is Mando supposedly working with them in the second season?

It might have a lot to do with his task of reuniting Baby Yoda with his people, the so-called "sorcerers" known as Jedi. After all, the New Republic already have a Jedi in their midst who goes by the name Luke Skywalker so it would make sense that Mando will try to reach out to them.

Of course, this doesn't mean we'll get to see Luke showing up in The Mandalorian Season 2. On the other hand, we're hoping to see other Force users in the second season.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 30.
