The Witcher Star Henry Cavill Possibly Interested in Joining Warcraft Movie Reboot

We already know and love Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in the live-action adaptation of The Witcher. But is it possible that the Justice League star could play a different character in another beloved video game? A new fan art imagines Cavill as the Lich King from World of Warcraft.

The fan art was created by digital artist Bosslogic and has been shared on Instagram. Interestingly, the illustration makes use of the recently released photo of Cavill as Geralt in The Witcher Season 2. Check it out below.

"A request from @kingsletter he loves 'wow' and so does @henrycavill so I had some fun with the recent #thewitcher season 2 picture!," the artist wrote before adding the hashtags #wow and #worldofwarcraft.

We're loving the art considering that Cavill looks perfect as the Lich King. Interestingly, we're not the only ones who like the idea of the actor appearing in a live-action Warcraft project. Cavill himself actually liked the post as well, leading to speculations that he could be interested in working with Blizzard.

This shouldn't come as a huge surprise for fans who already know about Cavill's love for World of Warcraft. After all, the actor famously admitted that he almost didn't answer the call confirming his casting as the Man of Steel because he was so busy playing the game. Needless to say, we wouldn't be shocked if Cavill immediately agrees to play the Lich King if he is offered the role in a Warcraft movie.

Cavill will return as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher Season 2, which has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
