Harley Quinn: Supergirl Star Rahul Kohli Confirmed As Scarecrow


It looks like another comic book villain is joining DC Universe's HarleyQuinn. Rahul Kohli has just confirmed that he will lend his voice to Scarecrow.

The iZombie star took to Twitter to announce his involvement in the highly anticipated animated series. Take a look at Kohli's tweet below.

Jonathan Crane is certainly one of the most popular Batman villains, having appeared in several animated shows. Scarecrow was famously portrayed by Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) in Chris Nolan's trilogy. The character also appeared as a child in the Fox series Gotham. We're certainly looking forward to what Kohli will do with the baddie in Harley Quinn.

This isn't the first time that Kohli has played a DC character. He appeared in the Supergirl Season 2 Episode Ace Reporter as Jack Spheer aka Biomax. The character was connected to Lena Luthor and was only featured in one episode. Hopefully, Kohli's new gig will Harley Quinn will be a longer one.

Harley Quinn will be led by The Big Bang Theory's Kaley Cuoco who will provide the voice of Harleen Quinzel. Lake Bell will play Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy while Diedrich Bader is the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Other cast members include J.B Smoove, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito, Wanda Sykes, Alan Tudyk, Christopher Meloni, Natalie Morales, Tony Hale, Jim Rash, and Ron Funches.

The Harley Quinn release date has not yet been revealed. However, the animated series is expected to debut on DC Universe in October 2019.
