Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 Villain Possibly Revealed

It looks like there are some exciting developments in the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. A new report claims that the villain in the third GOTG film has been revealed and he has a strong connection to one of the team's most beloved members.

There have been claims that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will focus on Rocket Raccoon's origins and could even introduce the person who created him in the first place. There's even a rumor that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Mark Hamill will play Rocket's creator although that has yet to be confirmed. Interestingly, We Got This Covered reports that a source has confirmed that the man who created Rocket will be the main villain in the third movie.

So how exactly will this happen? The source reportedly stated that the team will end up meeting Rocket's creator, who will not waste time in trying to take his invention back.

The storyline certainly seems to match up with what happened in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. In the second film, Peter Quill finally met his real father, who turned out to be Ego, a Celestial who conquer the entire universe with the help of Star-Lord. That didn't end well for Ego and if Rocket's creator has a similar agenda, things might not work out for him as well.

We're certainly hoping that we will finally get to meet Rocket's creator in GOTG V3, especially if he will be played by Mark Hamill. However, this is currently based on speculations so we still recommend taking it with a grain of salt.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to begin production in 2020.
