Godzilla Vs Kong Adds Iron Fist Star Jessica Henwick In Mystery Role

She might not be returning as Colleen Wing but Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick has a cool new gig. The former Game of Thrones actress has just been added to the cast of Godzilla Vs. Kong.

According to Variety, Henwick will be joining Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown in the highly anticipated monster flick. However, Henwick's role has not yet been specified.

Godzilla Vs. Kong already boasts of a stellar cast. The Adam Wingard film has confirmed Danai Gurira (Black Panther, The Walking Dead), Rebecca Hall (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, The Greatest Showman), Alexander Skarsgård (Mute, Big Little Lies), and Demian Bichir (A Better Life, The Nun). The movie's most recent addition has been Eiza González (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Baby Driver).

Henwick rose to fame after being cast as Nymeria Sand in Game of Thrones. Although her character only appeared in eight episodes of the HBO series, it helped her land the role of Colleen Wing in the Netflix show Iron Fist. Henwick played the martial artist in The Defenders as well as Luke Cage.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress was also one of the first to react to Iron Fist's cancellation. Although Henwick was evidently disappointed by the show's fate, she shared some amazing behind-the-scenes footage on her official Instagram page.

Godzilla Vs. Kong is set to be the sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, which will premiere on May 31, 2019. The follow-up is scheduled for release on May 22, 2020.
