There is little doubt that Disney+ will be bringing most of the beloved 90s animated shows and there's even a possibility that we'll be seeing a Gargoyles reboot. But what are the chances that Keith David will return as Goliath? The legendary Platoon star has just admitted that he is eager to revisit his iconic character in a new Gargoyles series.

David recently spoke to to discuss the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Disney animated series. Interestingly, the Adventure Time voice actor confessed that he was surprised that the show was cancelled after three seasons.

"You know, those of us who were involved from the beginning... I've always wondered why they stopped it in the first place," David said. He then pointed out that he has not yet been approached about returning in a new series.

"[We've wondered] why we haven't come back to a reboot," David admitted. He then shared that he is eager to reprise his role as the leader of the Gargoyles if given the chance.

"I mean, I would love nothing more than to revisit Goliath," David said. "You know, he was absolutely one of my very, very, very, very favorite characters. I've always maintained that when I grow up, I want to be like Goliath."

We know what you mean, Keith. For now, Disney+ has yet to make an official announcement about the Gargoyles reboot. In the meantime, we're crossing our fingers and hoping David gets to return as Goliath.

Disney+ launches on November 12.
