Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection Box Set in 4K Ultra HD is Coming


Most people might be eager to forget that they spent several years following Game of Thrones only to be disappointed with the final season. But for those who want to keep looking back at the fantasy show, you can now do so in high definition. The Game of Thrones Complete Collection box set has just been announced and it will even feature some never-before-seen deleted scenes.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment confirmed the news in a press release, revealing that all seasons of the HBO series will be released in 4K Ultra HD (via Gamespot). Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection will feature all 73 episodes of the show's eight seasons as well as over 15 hours of bonus footage. The 33-disc box set will also be available in Blu-ray.

Are you hoping for something that would prove you are a die-hard Game of Thrones fan? You can go for the Limited Steelbox Edition where all discs will be housed in a special steel box.

Of course, an epic box set like this might make you want to check with the Iron Bank first. The Complete Collection retails for $254.99 while the Steelbox Edition can cost $285.43. However, this might be the price you need to pay to see the Battle of Winterfell in better lighting so it could be worth it for most fans.
