Game Of Thrones Season 8: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Lawsuit Reveals Major Spoiler

It looks like Jaime Lannister may have taken a huge bulk of the Tyrell gold for himself. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's ongoing lawsuit with his former manager has revealed that the actor's hefty paycheck as well as some major Game of Thrones Season 8 spoilers.

Coster-Waldau was recently ordered to pay $2 million to his former manager Jill Littman for allegedly breaching his contract. The lawsuit is understandably messy as documents from the actor's work on Game of Thrones have surfaced. According to Harper's Bazaar, Coster-Waldau reportedly earned $1,066,667 per episode in the final season. This is a huge jump from his previous earnings from Season 7 where he was paid $942,857 for each of the seven episodes.

The report also updated previous news that Coster-Waldau would only appear in four episodes in Season 8. It has been revealed that the Mama star was paid for all six episodes, which means Jaime will make it to the season finale.

Although it sounds like Jaime will be one of the major characters who will survive in the eighth season, it is still possible that he could get killed off early in the season finale. Nevertheless, it is safe to say that we will be seeing the character's story arc reach an interesting climax next year.

Coster-Waldau has already teased that the Game of Thrones writers had provided a conclusion that is "very satisfying but also very surprising." Who knows, maybe the former Kingslayer will end up on the Iron Throne.

Game of Thrones Season 8 is expected to air on HBO in 2019.
