Game Of Thrones Season 8 Leak Reveals Cleganebowl Details [SPOILERS]

There are only two more episodes left in the final season of Game of Thrones and it looks like we're finally getting the fight we've been waiting for for a really long time. No, I'm not talking about Daenerys Targaryen taking on Cersei Lannister to claim the Iron Throne. The fight we're looking forward to is Cleganebowl and a Season 8 leak may have revealed some interesting details about the epic showdown.

WARNING: Possible spoilers ahead so proceed with caution.

People have been waiting for the epic fight between The Hound and The (undead) Mountain for some time, especially when it was teased in the Season 7 finale. Interestingly, the most recent episode of the eighth season confirmed that Sandor Clegane hasn't forgotten about it and is on his way back to King's Landing for some "unfinished business." But what exactly is going to happen when Sandor reunites with his brother Gregor Clegane?

The leak was posted on Reddit and reveals some details about what will happen in Cleganebowl. Although the exact fight itself was not shared, one of the key moments in the duel will see the Hound removing the Mountain's helmet and unveiling his hideous zombie head (ew).

We have yet to see what the Mountain looks like underneath that helmet. After all, he's kept it on since he was "healed" by Qyburn following the fight against Oberyn Martell in the fourth season (that was a LONG time ago, wasn't it?). We're sure it's not going to be pretty and the Hound will undoubtedly have something to say about his brother's looks.

But who will win Cleganebowl? People are hoping that the Hound will manage to defeat the Mountain and walk away with some minor injuries. Unfortunately, the leak also confirms that both Cleganes will die as they fall into a fire.

It might be a fitting conclusion for the two brothers who were somehow bound by fire from the start. Nevertheless, it's a disappointing end to a showdown that the world has been looking forward to for ages. For now, the leak has yet to be confirmed so we still recommend taking it with a grain of salt.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 airs on HBO on May 12.
