Game Of Thrones Season 8 Fans Freak Out Over Arya Stark And Gendry

It finally happened. Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 gave "Gendrya" shippers exactly what they wanted and a whole lot more. Not surprisingly, people have mixed feelings about Arya Stark and Gendry getting together in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

Spoilers Ahead! You Have Been Warned!

In the second episode, Arya reminded Gendry that he should work on her weapon first. When he stated that he had to continue making dragonglass weapons for the soldiers, she convinced him by throwing daggers at a wall while talking about the faces of death she has seen. Not surprisingly, Gendry had that spear done in no time at all.

That's not the only thing that happened in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2. Arya asked what the Red Woman wanted with Gendry and he finally tells her that he is Robert Baratheon's bastard. He also admits that Melisandre stripped him down and Arya wondered if he has been with anyone since then. It's a strange way to seduce a man but hey, she's Arya Stark so we shouldn't be surprised, right? After all that, Arya finally states that she wants to know what it's like to be with a guy before she dies so off they go.

The sex scene is decidedly brief but that didn't stop people from freaking out about it.

Perhaps most fans were just concerned about Arya being underaged and getting down and dirty with Gendry. If you have to check, "Arya Stark age" is currently trending.

Meanwhile, some were just glad that that's finally out of the way because they can't wait for Arya and Gendry to get married.

Of course, the Arya Gendry sex scene isn't the only notable thing that happened in the second episode. Jaime Lannister also knighted Brienne of Tarth (oh sorry, that's Sir Brienne of Tarth, a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms to you now) and Jon Snow finally told Daenerys Targaryen the truth about his parents. Needless to say, we're glad all that is out of the way because the White Walkers are here and the Battle of Winterfell is almost upon us.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will air on HBO on April 28.
