Game Of Thrones Season 8: Did Bran Stark Confirm His Own Death In Battle Of Winterfell?

People have their own theories about who will live and who will die in the Battle of Winterfell. Some even believe that everyone who got a sweet tribute in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will not survive in Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3. But is it possible that Bran Stark also revealed that he will not live past this Sunday?

There is little doubt that Bran Stark is currently one of the most important characters in Game of Thrones Season 8. He is the Three-Eyed Raven and the one person that the Night King is going after. Not surprisingly, everyone wants to protect Bran but there is also a possibility that Bran has already confirmed he will be one of the Night King's victims.

In Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, Bran finally reunited with Jaime Lannister and had an eye-opening exchange with the man who once threw him down the tower. Bran assures Jaime that he won't reveal their secret since Winterfell needs all the men they can get. "What about afterwards?" Jaime asks him. Bran's chilling response is, "How do you know there is an afterwards?"

Some fans immediately believed that Bran was suggesting that Jaime might not survive the battle or that the Night King will succeed and kill everyone in Winterfell. However, it may have also confirmed that Bran himself doesn't know how the fight will end.

At this point, the Night King's main purpose is to kill Bran, as he has done to all the Three-Eyed Ravens before him. It's possible that Bran can only see that the battle will happen but doesn't see beyond that because he will be killed at Godswood.

The teaser for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 already shows hints of Godswood possibly being consumed by fire. It is shown in the shot of Theon Greyjoy aiming his bow and arrow at someone as well as Jon Snow taking out his sword.

It's certainly a chilling thought but one that is still based on speculation. For now, we would recommend taking this with a grain of salt.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 will air on HBO on April 28.
