Game Of Thrones: Kit Harington Reportedly Joining MCU In Mystery Role

What do you do when you've been banished from Westeros for killing the dragon queen? How about moving to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? That's what Kit Harington is reportedly doing for his first major project after Game of Thrones.

According to Deadline, Marvel Studios president is reportedly courting Harington for a huge role in one of the MCU's upcoming projects. Although it has not yet been revealed who Harington will play, it's safe to say that his character would be completely different from Jon Snow.

For now, the news has not yet been confirmed although it sounds like Game of Thrones fans will have something to look forward to at the D23 Expo 2019. Will Feige make it official at the event? Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

If Harington does end up joining the MCU, he's hardly the first Game of Thrones star to land a major role. Richard Madden has been cast as Ikaris in The Eternals. It would be interesting to see if Jon Snow will be reunited with Robb Stark in a Marvel movie. On the other hand, Harington's role might be for a different project.

Harington recently checked into a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues that may have been connected to the end of Game of Thrones. There are speculations that the actor couldn't deal with the show coming to an end. Nevertheless, recent reports have confirmed that Harington is doing well and might be ready to join the MCU.
