Frozen 2 Trailer Teases Elsa's Greater Purpose In Arendelle

The full trailer for Frozen 2 is finally here and it looks like Arendelle isn't completely safe. Although we're seeing more footage, there are also more questions that need to be asked like, why does Queen Elsa have powers in the first place?

The trailer opens with the scene from the teaser where Elsa uses her powers to take on the ocean. Although she fails and falls into the water, there's an interesting encounter waiting for her under the waves. A water horse studies Elsa then disappears as she swims to the surface.

If that's not weird enough, Pabbie has a strange message for the Queen of Arendelle. "Elsa, the past is not what it seems. You must find the truth," he urges. "Go north across the enchanted lands and into the unknown, but be careful."

Interestingly, Pabbie has a different message for Anna. "We have always feared that Elsa's powers were too much for this world. Now we must hope they are enough." Anna, as always, vows to protect her sister. But can the sisters protect each other from a greater threat?

"Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough."

The sequel will bring back Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, and Josh Gad as Olaf. Frozen 2 hits theaters on November 22.
