Ezra Miller Reportedly Working On The Flash Movie After Fantastic Beasts Films

The future of Barry Allen's solo DC Extended Universe film might still be unclear but a new report reveals it could still happen if we're patient. Ezra Miller might begin work on The Flash movie as soon as he has finished filming the Fantastic Beasts films.

The report comes from Variety, which recently featured Miller in their Power of Pride 2019 list. The brief writeup about the Perks of Being a Wallflower star confirmed that Miller will immediately begin production on The Flash as soon as he completes his work on Fantastic Beasts movies.

Did you notice that we mentioned "movies"? Right now, there are five Fantastic Beasts films being planned by Warner Bros. and Miller has only completed two so far. Although his character was initially believed to just appear in one movie, it has since been revealed that Creedence Barebone is an important part of the ongoing storyline. With that in mind, Miller may have to work on all five films of the Harry Potter spin-off.

Unfortunately, this could mean that The Flash will be pushed back yet again so Miller can finish work on his ongoing projects. In the meantime, he is working with comic book legend Grant Morrison to create a script for the DCEU flick.

Some are hoping that the report might only mean Fantastic Beasts 3, which is scheduled for release on November 2021. Nevertheless, this could mean people will need to wait another three years or more for The Flash.
