In case you missed it, there have been reports that Warner Bros. is currently developing a standalone film that will focus on DC comic book character Zatanna. But who could possibly portray the superheroine? A new fan art imagines Baby Driver star Eiza Gonzalez as Zatanna Zatara.

The fan art was created by digital artist Bosslogic and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.

"Quick mock up of @eizagonzalez #zatanna," the artist wrote. "I have wanted her as a few characters over the years, I think she would shine here too."

It's an awesome idea considering that Gonzalez has already proven that she has the charm and acting chops to take on the role. In addition to that, the Alita: Battle Angel actress is fully capable of taking on action sequences that might be required in a comic book film. Needless to say, we're hoping that Gonzalez gets cast as the heroine.

For now, Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed the casting for Zatanna. However, we wouldn't be surprised if Gonzalez is one of the major candidates to take on the role.

Zatanna isn't the only huge project that Warner Bros. might be planning for DC Extended Universe. It was previously reported that the studio is already developing a live-action Batman Beyond movie that will star Michael Keaton as the older Bruce Wayne. Interestingly, both films could be officially announced in next month's DC FanDome event.

What do you think of Gonzalez playing Zatanna in the character's standalone film? Sound off in the comments below.
