Dwayne Johnson is Saitama in Hilarious One-Punch Man Film Image

In case you missed it, a live-action One Punch Man film is reportedly in development at Sony Pictures. So who should play Saitama? Some new fan art has an unlikely suggestion: Dwayne Johnson as the superhero with the powerful punch with Johnson's Jumanji: The Next Level co-star Kevin Hart as Saitama's opponent Genos.

The fan art was created by digital artist Bosslogic and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.

I honestly have no words. While it seems like a bad idea, it's also not hard to imagine Johnson and Hart going up against each other as the beloved webcomic characters. On the other hand, we're thinking that Sony probably has other people in mind for the film.

It was previously reported that Venom writers Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner are already on board to pen the script for the One-Punch Man adaptation. There are no other names attached to the project just yet but it has been revealed that Sony is serious about it and we'll probably be getting more updates on the film soon.

One Punch Man started out as a webcomic but has since been given a manga and anime adaptation. It features Saitama, a superhero who is so powerful that he can defeat any opponent with a single punch. However, he has grown bored with being the most powerful and is constantly looking for opponents who can defeat him.

The One Punch Man live-action adaptation has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Many have asked when will One-Punch Man Season 3 release date be announced. So far, Summer 2022 is the estimated release by industry experts, but no date has been confirmed by a studio.
