Are you looking for something to make the wait for Doctor Who Season 13 a little bit easier? Showrunner Chris Chibnall has just released a new short story and it reveals what happened to Jodie Whittaker's Time Lord as she was regenerating into the Thirteenth Doctor.
The new short story Things She Thought While Falling has been posted on the official BBC website and it even comes with an interesting note from Chibnall himself.
"Hello! We're living through some strange times right now.
"With people staying home, and families stuck together, I thought maybe a few little presents from Doctor Who might help. Something to read, together or alone. New treats, from the people who make Doctor Who.
"We'll try and post things here once or twice a week. Later this week, we'll have a never-before-published treat written by Russell T Davies.
"To start us off, I've written a few words about what went through the Thirteenth Doctor's head, immediately after she regenerated and was thrown out her TARDIS.
"Stay safe.
Chris x"
It's great to know that the creative minds behind Doctor Who are still looking out for Whovians during the Coronavirus outbreak. Needless to say, we're hoping to read more awesome content soon.
You can read the short story here. Meanwhile, the Doctor WhoChristmas (or New Year) Special is expected to drop later this year. The thirteenth season of the series is then set to air on BBC by early 2021.
