Did DC Just Confirm Robert Pattinson As The New Batman?

The world is certainly on edge as everyone waits for Warner Bros. and DC to announce the new Batman who will replace Ben Affleck in Matt Reeves' upcoming film. But has the casting just been confirmed? A post from a DC head may have subtly announced who will be the new Caped Crusader.

Fans are currently freaking out over an Instagram post made by Jim Lee. It appears to be just a regular photo confirming that the DC Chief Creative Officer is currently traveling to the UAE but if you look hard enough, something truly jumps off the picture. Take a look at the post below.

Did you see it? The photo clearly shows the name Robert Pattinson in big bold letters in the lower right-hand corner. Could this be a mere coincidence or is Lee trying to tell us something that fans have been hoping to hear for some time now?

It's not an official announcement yet people are already busy looking for other hints. One fan even shared that they have seen Pattinson on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles but some people have pointed out that the Twilight actor might be there for a completely different project. For now, we will have to wait for the studio to make it official.

Pattinson is not the only actor who is in the running to become the new Batman. Tolkien star Nicholas Hoult is reportedly being considered for the role as well. Either way, it's only a matter of time before we meet the new Dark Knight.
