Deadpool 3 Set to Introduce X-Men Reboot into the MCU

There is little doubt that people are currently excited about Deadpool 3 considering that there have been some exciting updates about the highly anticipated sequel. But what exactly will happen in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds film? There are speculations that the third Deadpool movie will finally kickstart the X-Men reboot and introduce mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It was previously reported that Deadpool 3 has added Bob's Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin. Interestingly, it was also revealed that the studio and Reynolds himself picked the Molyneux sisters to work on the project because he felt their pitch was "the perfect fit" for what they are hoping to go within the third Deadpool flick.

We're already loving the idea that Deadpool 3 is already moving forward so what will happen in the film? Several outlets have already pointed out that Wade Wilson's debut in the MCU would be a huge step for the X-Men considering that he is a mutant. In addition to that, the previous Deadpool movies already featured several mutants who could join Wade in the third film.

Does this mean the X-Men will finally cross over into the MCU? For now, it's too early to tell since the project is still in early development. However, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if we get an official announcement from Marvel Studios by next year.
