Daredevil Showrunner Pitches Season 4 Storyline To Netflix And Marvel

Erik Oleson is determined to see another season of Daredevil. The Season 3 showrunner has just admitted that he had pitched a new storyline for the fourth season to Netflix.

Oleson confirmed the pitch on his official Twitter account. Take a look at his post below.

Naturally, fans were delighted with the news. Several netizens tweeted their support for Daredevil Season 4, urging Netflix and Marvel to renew the series as soon as possible. However, there has been no response from the streaming giant just yet.

The need for Daredevil Season 4 has been brought about by the recent cancellation of Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Both Marvel shows were cancelled just a week apart, prompting fans to fear for the future of Daredevil and Jessica Jones.

Although it is still unclear if Jessica Jones will push through with the third season, people are certainly pushing for Daredevil. After all, the show's Season 3 proved that there were more stories to tell and that Matt Murdock is still the best hero in New York. Let's cross our fingers and hope that Netflix will consider Daredevil Season 4.

Oleson has been vocal about his plans for the fourth season. The Season 3 showrunner has previously admitted that he enjoyed working on the show and hopes to keep working on the series.

"Hell yes. I had the time of my life, man. I had so much fun. If you talk to anybody in the cast and crew or involved in the production, Season 3 was a very pleasant experience for all of us. And we're all very proud of the teamwork that made the final product possible. So yeah, I'm hopeful that I'll get to do it again."

Netflix has not yet announced if Daredevil will be renewed.

Daredevil Season 3 is currently streaming on Netflix.
