Cyberpunk 2077 Reveals Cool New Details About Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand

There are several good reasons why Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly-anticipated video games of the year. In addition to some awesome RPG features, the title will also feature Keanu Reeves as one of the cool characters who help you along the way. But just how amazing is Johnny Silverhand? New details about the character have just been revealed and just like Reeves, he's a rockstar.

The new details were revealed in Cyberpunk 2077's Night City Wire: Episode 2 which featured a spotlight on Johnny. Interestingly, it was confirmed that the character is actually the lead singer of a fictional punk group Samurai and although Reeves is Johnny's speaking voice, his songs are performed by Dennis Lyxzén of the band Refused.

Lyxzén also shared some cool details about how Johnny will be an important part of Cyberpunk 2077's storyline. The frontman stated that Johnny is one of the characters that the game player will meet in Night City. The meeting will lead to the player's character being inspired by Johnny's anti-establishment views and propel them further in the gameplay.

First of all, it's already fantastic that Reeves is playing Johnny but we think he's even cooler now that he's a confirmed rockstar who will be performing punk songs in the game. Needless to say, we can't wait to start playing and meeting Johnny this November.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in November 2020 before being released on Stadia by the end of the year. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2021.
